Nice comeback vrs the Raiders today.

Great to see Ellis win man of the match from most people. Really happy for him, hope he keeps it up.

Tuiaki showed glimpses of being back to his damaging best (although still a bit of a liability in defense) if he keeps that up I predict tries galore this year.

2nd half was excellent from the tigers. Other than a couple shockers from Marshall kicking game was good, also helped by a couple of Monaghan mistakes in the in goal to give us repeat sets.

But after leaking a few in the first half, was good to see them keep the Raiders out for the whole second half.

If Ellis wasn't the Tigers best player I'm not sure who was. Campese was his main competition for man of the match.

Ellis played well. Was blowing a bit at one stage but got his second wind and played a good hard 80min game of football. Finally a bit more size for the Tigers. Marshall plays like he is 19. 4 seasons in one game. He needs to learn how to grind a game out and mount pressure. As Cow said Monas made up for Marshall's mistakes and let the Tigers mount pressure. Campese played great but lacked hard edge runners. Could have quite easily gone the Raiders way aswell though.

I reckon Tuiaki was held in the first tackle also.

Ellis was very good IMO, got caught at as the lazy man in D a couple of times but he will learn to stay alive in that spot. I am more than happy we have him.

I thought Laurie was good in spurts, Galloway was good, Gibbs is an idiot and I would have kept Bronson instead of him.

Marshall was a tad shy of awful but will learn from it, he needs another creater around him though and Morris is not it although he played well.

Collis and Lawrence could be anything really and I hope they grow up this year.

Not sure Moltzen is best for us at the back, I would prefer to see Ryan back there TBH and I thought he and TT both had good matches.

TT was held for your life but the one thing that came out of the weekend for me was that the refs backed themselves and made decisions.

A better side would have lapped us but a win is a win and lets hope the hold we have on the Cows continues this week.
